Hi Some people asked me how the .cfg files I use work. These files are really useful to save things, like binds, names, etc. For instance, I use a cfg file to login to my account and to load my prefs (model, colors, binds...).
Creating a .cfg file is really simple :
1. Open wordpad and create a new document 2. Put some commands or binds inside 3. Save the file as "whatever.cfg", and put it in the JKA base folder 4. In game, toggle console and type "exec whatever". This will execute the file whatever.cfg (you can also make a bind : /bind w exec whatever)
Basically, you can add in a cfg file any command that you usually write in the console. This include binds, configurations, colors, models, Lugormod login, etc. Here's an example of what you may write :
bind L say "LoL" bind H say "Hi everyone!"
bind K kill
bind Z exec awesome_cfg_file
bind Q vote yes bind D vote no
bind O cl_yawspeed 1000
bind W pay 1 bind C pay 3 bind X interact 3
bind I emote surrender bind E kick Emperror
char_color_red 25 char_color_green 220 char_color_blue 10
saber1 single_6 saber2 single_4 color1 blue color2 green
rate 26500 snaps 40
!chatstyle 3 !playsearch emperror
set name Chewbacca
exec another_cfg_file
login NICK PASS
That's it :>

easy you say ? 0_o when you do /write (name) it save a .cfg file auto you just ave to, for exemple in game, set a name or bind you want, then in console do (set a name for the config, exempme jedi, merc...) to save a config in game do in console /write (name) and to load this config do /exec (name) like for me, in game i set a bind/button config to play as jedi so i do /write jedi and same for button for merc (like weapon switch on the mouse scrool insted of force because you dont ave force as merc XD and the flame burst bind so when you switch jedi to merc you dont ave to bind it all everytime) so when i ave all, i do /write merc so when i play jedi i just ave to do /exec jedi when i play merc i just do /exec merc you dont ave to write a world pad document... its longer for nothing and way more easy whit /write blabla XD
